Sieco 50' Pulpwood Flatcar

  • Pulpwood is an important source of fiber for making paper. These purpose-built cars feature a V-sloped deck and tall bulkheads at each end of the car keep the load in place. Constructed by SIECO (Southern Iron & Equipment Co.) beginning in the 1960s, these cars haul pulpwood between pulp landings in the woods and paper mills.
  • These layout-ready models come equipped with Accumate(R) knuckle couplers.
