History: The Southern Iron and Equipment Company
of Atlanta, Georgia (SIECO), began manufacturing
gondolas in the mod-1970's. In the early 1980's,
The Evans Company took control of SIECO and continued
producing these gondolas under their own specifications.
These cars are in use on the prototype today and
will find many uses on your model railroad ...
