Scale Bridge Kits |

The Concrete & Girder Bridge is a modular bridge and can be combined with (#9006)_ Expansion Bridge Kit) to make a double or a tripple track bridge by adding the expansion bridge kits. It can also be modeled as a highway underpass (see photo at right) or serve as a railroad underpass. Signs are included for the highway underpass.
Included are 4 unpainted wing walls and two abutments, four white metal girders, signs and instructions.

Merchant Street Bridge The Prototype:
The Merchant Street Bridge is based on bridges
built in the 1920's and 30's of which many are
still in use today. These bridges were made of
reinforced concrete with a double track mainline
traveling overhead. Many of these bridges were
built to eliminate grade crossings and promote
safer passage for automobiles and pedestrians
in urban areas. Some of these bridges where in
a simpler style, ours happens to be in a more
ornate style. After all, its going down Merchant
Street. This will make a 59 scale foot single
track bridge. Size:
4-1/2”H x 6-1/2”L x1-5/8"H
