the Broadway Limited, in the 1970’s many
GG1’s continued on in their life running
on the Penn Central and then Amtrak, pulling everything
from freight to early Amtrak Superliners. Many
of these locomotives continued to operate well
into the 1980’s - their nearly 50 year
lifespan a tribute to how powerful and effective
this locomotive truly was. |

This
is a very small universal fit,
full-featured diesel sound decoder, that is easily
adaptable to most
N-Scale locomotives. All 28 NMRA functions, 2 or
4 digit addressing, 14, 28/128 speed steps, directional
lighting, full fidelity speaker with MRC's Brilliance
sound reproduction. Includes diesel sounds of 6
prime movers.

Brilliance" N Gauge Steam Sound Decoder with
19 Accessory Sound Functions includes synchronized
steam
chuff with random sounds. 12 selectable chuff sounds
(4 regular/4 articulated). User selectable 12 different
whistles and 4 bells. Includes these programmable
features: individual sound volumes, either 2-digit
(1-127) or
4-digit (1-9999) addresses, start voltage, acceleration
and deceleration rate, top voltage and 14,28,128
speed steps. Selectable factory default speed curve.
Directional
lighting control for front and rear lights at 0.2
amp rate. Programmable chuff rate and chuff starting
point.
Includes NMRA 8 pin plug for easy installation. Fits
in most steam locomotive tenders. |
